Alvaro Soler is is a German-Spanish singer, songwriter and composer who shot to fame with his 2015 hit song, “El mismo sol”.
Álvaro Tauchert Soler was born on the 9th of January 1991 in Barcelona to a German father and to a Spanish-Belgian mother. When he was ten years old, he moved with his parents to Japan where he received piano lessons.
Alvaro Soler stayed in Japan until he was 17 years old. Not much is known about his parents and childhood. Alvaro has a brother by the name, Gregory Tauchert Soler and a sister named Paula Tauchert Soler.
As per his educational background, Alvaro Soler Soler pursued studies in industrial design at Escuela de Grafismo Elisava, and also attended a music school whiles working with a modelling agency based in Barcelona.
Alvaro Soler rose to prominence in Europe with his 2015 hit “El mismo sol”. A bilingual Spanish / English version of “El mismo sol” featuring Jennifer Lopez got him into the international scene in the United States, UK and worldwide.
